Now, the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has also been added to the list. LIC also started its services on WhatsApp from December 2022 and registered policyholders can now take advantage of the services for better communication with the insurance company using their phone.

Services that policyholders can use include Premium Statement, ULIP Statement, Loan Repayment Quote, Bonus Information and more via WhatsApp chat box. All policyholders need to do to start LIC’s WhatsApp services is send a “Hello” message to the mobile phone number 8976862090.

reporting on the same LIC in a statement said: “The Chairman of LIC India, Shri MR Kumar, has launched LIC’s select interactive services with its policyholders on WhatsApp. Policyholders who have registered their policies on the LIC portal will be able to avail these services on WhatsApp by saying ‘Hello ‘ on mobile. No. 8976862090. The following screen will help policyholders take advantage of the listed services.”

Send ‘Hello’ in the LIC India chat box.

Then, the LIC WhatsApp will automatically send you a list of 11 options.
