PM Kisan 13 fee: eKYC required to receive benefits; do it online now

To receive the benefits of the 13th installment of the PM Kisan Plan, you must perform eKYC. This is how you can do it online.

Here is an important update for the recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-KISAN). If you have signed up for the scheme, it is mandatory for you to do eKYC. According to a Department of Agriculture tweetGovernment of Bihar, recipients of PM Kisan scheme are required to complete the eKYC process by 28 Jan 2023. It may be known that the 13th installment of PM Kisan scheme is expected to be released soon, however the date of the same has not been confirmed.

eKYC can be done online by visiting PM Kisan’s official website or through their mobile app. “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on PMKISAN portal or nearest CSCs can be contacted for biometric-based eKYC,” the PM Kisan website stated. It is recommended to carry out the eKYC so that you do not have any problem receiving the PM Kisan 13 quota in your bank accounts.

It may be known that the 12th installment of Rs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released Rs 16 billion on October 17, 2023, under the PM Kisan scheme. The PM Kisan scheme is a core sector scheme that was started to provide income support to all land-owning farming families in the country. An annual financial benefit of Rs. 6,000 are being provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families under the scheme.

The amount is paid directly into the farmers’ bank account in three equal installments of $2,000 each, every 4 months. If you haven’t taken the PM Kisan eKYC yet, here are the steps you need to take.


PM Kisan: Steps to complete the online KYC process

Step 1:

Go to the official website of PM Kisan or click the link: https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2:

Look for the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the home page and click on ‘eKYC’ mentioned below.

Step 3:

By clicking on the eKYC option, you will be redirected to the ‘OTP Based Ekyc’ page where you will need to enter your Aadhaar number and then click ‘Search’.

Stage 4:

Enter your mobile number which is linked with Aadhaar, once your Aadhaar number is displayed. You will then need to click ‘Get OTP’.

Step 5:

Enter the OTP in the required field received on your phone and continue.

Step 6:

As the OTP is verified and all the details match, the eKYC process will be completed successfully.
