Full-size luxury SUVs aren’t usually a mixed bag, but the 2023 Lexus LX 600 appears to be just that. This impressive large SUV offers many of the qualities you want, with great tech features, capable suspension, plenty of power, and a smooth ride. That said, it seems there are a few things that could set it off from the higher-tier Lexus LX 600.
Why is the cabin of the 2023 Lexus LX 600 so small?
You may need a double take to understand what goes on between the enormous exterior size and the relatively small interior area of this large SUV. We typically expect a large three-row SUV to offer plenty of room in the first two rows, but this Lexus’s second row is tighter than you might expect. The third row is even worse. This seating area further back is not big enough for adults.
Why are there hard plastics inside the Lexus LX 600?
If this big luxury SUV had Toyota badging, we could accept hard plastic elements in the cabin, but we don’t. In fact, this SUV is well over $100,000 for most trims, making the hard plastic items a bit disappointing in the Lexus LX 600’s interior area.
Are two screens better than one?

The 2023 Lexus LX 600 has a 12.3-inch screen for entertainment and navigation, while the lower screen is dedicated to climate controls and vehicle information. These touchscreens are better than Lexus’ old joystick system, but not as sophisticated as other brands’ infotainment systems.
Is this full-size luxury SUV too expensive?
The starting price of the Lexus LX 600 is just under $90,000, and the top model is over $130,000. Is this the correct price for this SUV? The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 and BMW X7 cost about $10,000 less than this big Lexus.
Lexus gives the LX 600 a refined powertrain

You’re sure to find a lot to love about this big and impressive Lexus SUV. The LX 600 has a new powertrain, arriving with the new generation for 2022. Lexus has ditched the old V8 and replaced it with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 409 horsepower. This engine is paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission to give you a near-perfect driving experience.
Will you enjoy the driving experience in the 2023 Lexus LX 600?
This full-size luxury SUV puts you in an upright driving position where you can see everything around you. You won’t feel the truck-like platform of this SUV while driving. Instead, you’ll get a smooth, quiet and controlled ride on the highway and around town. If you want a model that’s a little more fun, choose the F Sport trim and enjoy a sport suspension and 22-inch wheels that make things a little more fun.
This big Lexus SUV has true off-road capabilities

If you’re willing to take such a vehicle into the wilderness, it has everything you need for adventures. The Lexus LX 600 comes with standard 4WD, off-road electronics and crawl control to make it easy to hit the trails for outdoor fun.
