What is a Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition?
According to CarBuzz, Ram announced the new Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition. It is a completely new addition to the line that will only see the light of day in limited quantities. However, it has a bold, stylish look that some super truck buyers will love. For the first time, the TRX model will come in a Baja Yellow exterior color, a must-have hue when drivers hit the road. The Havoc Edition isn’t all about the shiny paint job though.
The Havoc Edition adds the TRX Level 2 Team Group, a $10,995 option on the standard TRX model. It combines a long list of features like eight-way power-adjustable seats, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon Premium sound system, and ventilated seats for both rows. Finally, the Havoc Edition gets a dual-pane sunroof to add to the interior ambience.
Next up, the special-edition super truck gets 18-inch black-painted wheels with bead-lock capability, graphics, and a sprayed bed liner. More standard exterior features include cargo tie-downs, a cab-mounted LED brake light, and a bed step.
Inside, the carbon fiber and leather-wrapped steering wheel has a Baja Yellow TRX symbol to match the exterior. Additionally, Prowler Yellow stitching is found on the dash, center console and seats. Additionally, the seats also get black leather upholstery embroidered with TRX logos with carbon fiber inlays for the fascia. Lastly, there’s an HE badge on the center console, plus some additional driver assists like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and pedestrian emergency braking.
Is the motor the same as a standard TRX?
Although the Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition looks better in yellow, it’s just as good for performance. Ram didn’t change the 702-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 from the standard TRX model. Super truck buyers are unlikely to have complained about the powerful engine, so if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
CarBuzz noted that if Ram TRX buyers want even more power, it’s available. Just buy the Ram Tyrant, which bumps power to 787 horsepower.

The question everyone will have when they meet the new bright yellow super truck will undoubtedly be the price. You’ll need a hefty budget to get this one, as the Havoc Edition starts at $104,550. Plus, there’s a destination charge of $1,895, bringing the total price to $106,445. Though expensive, it’s cheaper than the truck’s biggest rival, the F-150 Raptor R.
The Yellow Menace is expected to go on sale sometime during the first quarter of 2023.
